Dr. Cohen is not just your doctor, but your wellness guidance counselor.
She believes that moving from the mundane to the miracle is not as hard as you think! It begins with healing first and possibilities will follow.
Fresh out of her residency at Albany Medical Center in 1998, Dr. Cohen decided to explore the emerging field of Integrative Medicine and worked alongside Dr. Robert Atkins, author of the iconic Dr. Atkins’s New Diet Revolution, in his New York City based wellness center.
It was there that she witnessed the transformational power of nutrition, supplementation, Vitamin C drips, and chelation therapy on various chronic health conditions for the very first time.
While she was initially skeptical of this approach—as most conventionally trained physicians are—it wasn’t long before she was in awe of the miraculous changes in patients and knew this approach to medicine was meant for her too.
She was later mentored by Dr. Ronald L. Hoffman, a pioneer of Integrative Medicine and the founder of the Hoffman Center in New York City, as well as Dr. Michael Schachter and Dr. Glenn Rothfeld.
Today, she is an advisor to the Board of Directors of the American College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM) and a leading voice in the integrative field for more than 1,500 MD, DO, DN, and master level health care providers.
